I had some initial FTF problems with it that are what KAHR calls "normal" and, even though it has been 100% for hundreds of rounds since, that's always in the back of my mind. So I put my MK9, which I really loved, up for sale and bought a new PM9. So, once again I carried the MK9 and alternated between pocket and IWB, not really enjoying either.Īfter a while, as I continued to watch the evolution of the PM9, it appeared that KAHR had worked out most of the bugs. By this time the PM9 had been out a while, but there were a lot of problems with it and I was afraid to chance it. So after a while I decided, "Well, if I'm going to carry IWB, might as well carry a. Not comfortable in pocket and I really hate IWB. So I carried my MK for a while in pocket or IWB. When I bought my first MK9 the polymer KAHRs were not yet out. Great for IWB, OWB, fanny, what have you. The MK9 came closer to filling my requirements for pocket carry than any of them, was too heavy. 45 ACP (still own), a couple of J-frame S&Ws (still own), SIG P245 (still own), Glock G26, Bobcats, Tomcats, Seecamp 32 (still own), probably more that I can't remember, as well as larger guns that don't come close to pocket-sized(still own some). I've tried the AMT backup 45, American Derringer Double Action. I wanted a pocket pistol in a "real" caliber. They are great little pistols accurate, reliable, durable and I think, really good looking! Physically they are pocket sized, which is why I bought it and is the problem.
Regretted selling the first and after about a year replaced it.
